  • When you begin therapy, you’ll choose the session length that feels like the best fit for you. Most clients select either a 50-minute or 60-minute session, and that choice becomes your regular session length so scheduling and fees stay consistent.

    • 50-minute session: $175

    • 60-minute session: $190

If your needs change over time, you’re always welcome to ask about adjusting your session length. Changes are based on availability and will apply to future sessions.

For times when more space feels helpful, occasional 90-minute sessions are available. These longer sessions are offered as needed rather than as a standing weekly appointment.

    • 90-minute individual session: $285

Family therapy sessions are offered in longer formats to support multiple participants and deeper conversation:

    • 60-minute family session: $240

    • 90-minute family session: $360

If you’re unsure which option is right for you, we can talk it through together and find what feels most supportive.

Payment is accepted at the start of the day you have a scheduled appointment. KML takes all major credit cards, HSA’s, Venmo, and cash.

  • KML Therapy is an “Out Of Network” provider. This allows you the privacy, flexibility, and the confidentiality you deserve on this journey. As a result, the focus is 100% on you and what you want to accomplish, allowing us to focus on your goals.

People are often surprised to learn that they have out-of-network coverage and typically receive reimbursement for 50-85% of session fees. The questions that you will want to ask your insurance company are:

    1.  Does your plan include “out-of-network” coverage for mental health? And if so, what is your annual deductible for mental health benefits?

    2.  What is your co-insurance? (What percentage does the plan cover?)

    3.  Is there a limit on the number of sessions your plan will cover per year?

We can provide you with a “superbill” at the end of each month, if you desire. Your superbill is a specialized invoice, which includes the procedure coding, diagnosis coding, and session dates that your insurance carrier will need in order to reimburse you.

  • The length of therapy is different for everyone, depending on what you want to achieve, the challenges you're facing, and how ready you are to embrace the change that comes with growth.

Frequency plays a role in this as well. Kailagh recommends new clients come on a weekly basis for the first 6 - 8 weeks to establish their therapeutic foundation. This lays the ground work for all sessions moving forward.

Together, you and Kailagh will figure out what timeline feels comfortable and effective for you, while still giving you space and autonomy to change the course at any time.
